She Past Away is dark-wave with a reworked 80’s sound. Signature guitar sound of the post-punk era, combined with minimalist poetry in Turkish.
Their music compiles elements from the dark, sensational side of 80’s, often associated with bands like The Sisters Of Mercy, The Cure, Joy Division, Clan Of Xymox, Grauzone, and Deutsch Amerikanische Freundschaft. They bring back that era with today’s approach and Turkish lyrics. *
(In An Interview They Been Asked Why Not Sing In English As their Core-fans Are In Europe.

22-Pistepirkko, is a Finnish popular music band formed in 1980.Their early albums were inspired by rock and roll and underground icons like Bo Diddley and The Sonics, but they have developed their unique sound by adding other influences to their music. Today they play an unconventional but distinctive mixture of pop, punk, rock and electronica, and achieved this fusion before artists such as Primal Scream or Beck popularized this kind of sound.(Wiki)
here comes my darling
saying hello you
hey why you look so worried
what’s so wrong with you
I felt something evil
lying in my room
it makes me really scared
don’t you feel it too
I know, it don’t really matter
does it really matter
if we go insane, my darling
do we always stick together
does it really matter
if we go insane, my darling
you said you saw shooting
on a market square
since when I have been dull
to see blood in everywhere
this time man was you uncle
you wonder what went wrong
he always looked so harmless walking on his own

Maelstrom :
The heat burned the past into these concrete walls. Fragmented to dust that is grinding my teeth. There is no cure for a colorless mind, and I am dreaming grey This is no home anymore. No walls left to hang a door. And the hollow drums of war, force our fate back to the shore. Let it go, flush the ocean trough my lungs Into the undertow, where the darkest river runs Sinking like a stone, in the silence of the flood Ill find home , Ill find home This coffin that takes me into a pall of gloom. I find myself drowned in eternal grey, needles of light pierce through the perforated drapery. Like a dead weight I sink into the depth of my ocean grave. darkness swallows every ray I fade to black darkness swallows every ray at least no grey

Falling in your, falling in your arms
Fish on a line, learns to live on dry land
Thrown back again to drown
Kinder with poison
Than pushed down a well – or a face burnt to hell
Feel the cruel stones breaking her bones
Dead before born
Words fall in ruins – but no sound
She’s dying of your shame – she maimed by your paw
He gives birth to swimming horses
Fish on a line, walking on dry land
But, back in the water to drown we drown
Floating in sky
He gives birth to swimming horses
Take a…
He gives birth to swimming horses
Take a ride on the tide with the assassin at your side
The weightlessness under water — forgets in slow motion
And washes pointless tortures
He gives birth to swimming horses
Floating in sky like fishes can fly through your arms
In a 1992 interview with Melody Maker, Siouxsie Sioux explained the meaning behind the song:
“This is based on a programme I saw about a female version of Amnesty, called ‘Les Sentinelles’. They rescue women who are trapped in certain religious climates in the Middle East, religions that view any kind of pre-marital sexual aspersion as punishable by death – either by the hand of the eldest brother in the family, or by public stoning. And there was this instance of a woman whose daughter had developed a tumour, and, of course, gossip abounded that she was pregnant. The doctor who removed the tumour allowed her to take it back to the village to prove that, no, it wasn’t a baby – but they wouldn’t believe her. The woman knew her daughter would have to be stoned to death so she poisoned her, out of kindness, to save her from a worse fate. Now this organisation has all these escape routes for women like her, mainly through the elder brother who pretends to have killed them. But once they’ve been saved, they can never go back. So the song starts, “Kinder than with poison…” I also used the imagery of “He gives birth to swimming horses”, from the fact that male sea horses give birth to the children, so they’re the only species that have a maternal feel for the young. It was, I suppose, an abstract way of linking it all together without being sensationalist. I remember just being really moved by that programme, and wanting to get the sorrow out of me.”
I’m not someone who messes around, nor do I like being messed around with. My gut will always tell me if something makes sense or not. Who I should and shouldn’t trust. I can promise one thing life… I don’t do funny business.

A Saudi woman has reportedly lost a legal battle to marry the man of her choice after her family objected because he played a musical instrument.
Relatives of the woman, a bank manager, refused to allow her to wed the man, a teacher, saying his oud (lute) playing made them “religiously incompatible”.
A lower court backed that view, and its verdict has now been confirmed at appeal, a lawyer and local media say.
Some people in the conservative Muslim state say music is “haram” (forbidden).
Despite that, Saudi Arabia has a distinctive musical tradition – in which the oud features – and public concerts by Arab and Western artists are permitted.
He said a woman from Unaiza, in the Qassim region, had asked him two years ago to file a lawsuit against her brothers because they had refused to give their permission for her to marry a man who “once played the oud and so was not considered religious”.
Under Saudi Arabia’s guardianship system, adult women must obtain permission from a male guardian – usually a husband, father, brother, or son – to apply for a passport, travel outside the country, study abroad on a government scholarship, get married or even leave prison.
